Why pick our Meat?
Located in the picturesque Pewsey Vale of rural Wiltshire, our farm spans approximately 2,000 acres, specializing in arable crops, beef production, and horse livery services.
We source our beef cattle at three months old or older and nurture them on our farm through to a finished animal. The cattle graze the lush meadows around the village of Stanton st Bernard and the expansive downs that form part of the National Nature Reserve (NNR) of the Pewsey Downs.
In winter, the cattle are sheltered in our livestock barns, where they are served freshly mixed rations each day. These include our home grown herb and legumes silage which provides a high protein feed for the animals and helps keep their guts healthy and the cattle happy!
We have a modest number of sheep which graze outdoors all year. The ewes are all Wiltshire Horns a traditional sheep breed of the area, you can find out more at the Wiltshire Horn Societies pages.
We offer our meat fresh for pickup around the time of processing or alternatively sold as frozen after this point. At this point in time all meat is collection only from our farm office.
